Chicken & Rice

Add 1 1/2 C RAW rice to a 13X9 casserole dish

Add about 1/2-1 C of shredded cheese on top of rice
Add chicken breasts ( I used 3 Huge ones and just cut in 2-3 pieces), 3 C. cold water, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 pkg onion soup mix (I didnt have any so I crushed 2 beef boullion cubes & some onion powder and it tasted the same) and whatever seasoning you want on chicken.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour

add 1/2-1 C. shredded cheese and bake for 30 more min (cover with foil)

And there you have it!! yummy dinner!!! my kids loved this!!

  1. that seems like the long way of doing that kind of chicken, an hour and a half is a long time to cook! when I make it, I cook the rice first (15 min) then put it in the pan, lay raw chicken breasts on top and pour over some cream soup, seasoning, and cheese, then cook for like half an hour or until the chicken is done. that's only about 45 min, depending on how thick your breasts are. much faster and tastes the same!
